Alan Wellburn

Creative Director
Alan is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, where he studied photography and visual communication. Alan has picked up a few gongs for his mantelpiece along the way and over the years he has fulfilled a variety of roles in the Scottish marketing and design sector including senior designer and art director. He has worked on prestigious accounts including Diageo and Tesco. When not behind his desk, Alan can be found at Glentress, flying down the hillside on his mountain bike.
John McConville

John has many years experience in management, working for diverse larger companies including Scottish and Newcastle and Kodak before getting involved in the early days of Internet with Macromedia. Having worked in PR and publishing, John moved towards running marketing and advertising agencies before setting up McConville Wellburn with Alan. When not pen pushing, John can be found hobbling around a five-a-side pitch wondering why he still pretends he can play football.
